Grace Miles was born February 3, 1898, in Cherokee. She had reached the age of only 24 years and 8 days, death taking her Sunday morning, following an operation. A little over two years ago she was married to Albert Haynes, custodian of the Cherokee schools, and five months ago a baby boy was born to them. Besides the grieved husband and this little boy, there survive her the parents, Mr. and Mrs. Z. A. Miles, now of Parker, S. D., and five brothers and four sisters.
