Asheville, N.C., Aug. 19 - Miss Margaret Turley, daughter of former United States Senator Thomas B. Turley of Memphis, died here tonight at 8:30 o'clock after a lingering illness. The remains will be shipped to Memphis for interment. The body will reach Memphis Wednesday morning. (Published in The Commercial Appeal, Memphis, TN, on August 20, 1907)

Funeral Notices - TURLEY - The funeral service of the late Miss Margaret, youngest daughter of Thomas B. and Irene R. Turley, will be held at family residence, 248 Wellington street this (Thursday) morning at 10 o'clock. Services conducted by the Rev. Thomas S. Potts. Friends of the family invited. The body of Miss Margaret Turley, daughter of Senator Thomas B. and Mrs. Irene R. Turley, who died recently at Asheville, N.C. arrived in the city from that place this morning and the funeral will be held at 10 o'clock. The service, which only the intimate friends of the family will attend, will be conducted by the Rev. Thomas S. Potts at the family residence, 248 Wellington street. The interment will be private. the deceased had, previous to her death, lived for some time at the Carolina resort, hoping against hope for the restoration of her health. The funeral of Miss Margaret Turley took place yesterday morning at the family residence, 248 Wellington street, at 10 o'clock. The services were conducted by the Rev. Thomas S. Potts. A large attendance of the friends of the deceased gathered to pay the last tribute. The floral tributes were of the most beautiful designs. At the home, the services were simple, and the interment, which was private, took place in Elmwood cemetery. The pall-bearers were Messrs. Embry Holmes, Lee Barrells, Clinton McKellar, Wm.
