Obituary. James H. Barnes, age 78, passed away August 17, 1991 at a local health care center.
Born October 14, 1913 in Preston, Idaho to James Herbert and Annie Griffith Barnes. He married the former Genevieve Mackelprang in January of 1933 in Salt Lake City. Retired from the Utah Pipe Trade.
Survived by his wife, Genevieve; daughters, Jacqueline (Paul) Riddell; Kathleen (Michael) Gleason, and Anne Oswald; son, James Kenneth (Tanya) Barnes; 14 grandchildren; brothers, Joseph, William, and Robert Barnes; sisters, Hilda Williams and Josephine Hisimato.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday, at 11:00 a.m., at the Murray City Cemetery. A viewing will be Monday, from 6-8 p.m. at the Memorial Estates Mortuary, 5850 South 900 East, and a half-hour prior to services Tuesday.
