Archie Remboldt, 92, Stockton, Calif., was born into eternal life May 23, 2004.

Mr. Remboldt was born Sept. 10, 1911, in Gackle, the son of Conrad and Elizabeth Remboldt. He married Irene Clark Feb. 7, 1936, in Bismarck. They moved to Jamestown in 1942, where they resided until moving to California in 1978, after retiring. He was a plumbing supply salesman for many years.

His wife, Irene, preceded him in death on Jan. 24, 2003.

He was a member of Zion Reformed Church of Lodi, Calif.

Mr. Remboldt is survived by his four children, Sharon (Tom) Elhard, Galt, Calif., Sandi (Bob) Peterson, Lodi, Paul Remboldt, Vergas, Minn., and David (Kathy) Remboldt, Mandan; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one sister, Christine DeWitt, Gackle; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Irene; four brothers; and six sisters.

A memorial service was held May 28 at Cherokee Memorial Park, Lodi, Calif. The family suggests donations in his memory by made to the Zion Reformed Church of Lodi, 105 S. Ham Lane, Lodi, Calif. 95242. (DeYoung Memorial Chapel, Stockton)
