June Ann was born to Martin Peter LeRoy and Margaret Francis O'Dell. She was the oldest child of their four children. She married Embly (Jack) Van Pelt. She follows her sister Dorothy, Geraldine and Robert to the heaven. She also had 13 half brothers and sisters, unfortunately she never got to know.

Former Resident Dies At Aberdeen

June VanPelt, wife of Jack VanPelt, formerly of Wallowa, passed away at Aberdeen, Washington, July 17, 1974.

Funeral services were held in Aberdeen. Graveside services were conducted at the Lostine cemetery Tuesday morning, July 23, with Rev. Edward Morrison officiating.

June is survived by her step-father, Jack Anderson, of Aberdeen; a niece, Mrs. Nancy Grader, of Seattle; and several cousins in Wallowa County.
