On a cool, fall evening, last mid-October, Louisa May Cook came full circle to her place of birth; Avalon on Santa Catalina Island. Her sons, Al and Larry, and their wives, Sylvia and Karen, scattered Louisa's ashes at the final resting place on the jetty behind the Grand casino, looking out on the bay and toward the mainland; a beautiful repose for a beautiful person.
