ASHTABULA - Brenda Lee Osborne, 45, of North Bend Road died Tuesday, September 2, 2008 at her home.
She was born May 20, 1963 in Ashtabula, the daughter of Palmer and Dora (Collins) Osborne and had been a lifelong Ashtabula resident, graduating from Harbor High School in 1981.
She worked as a nurse's aid assistant at Cardinal Woods Skilled Nursing and Rehab in Madison and previously with Hilltop Group Home in Madison.
A member of Lighthouse Baptist Church, she loved her pets, spending time with her friends, and writing, having kept an extensive journal during her life. She also loved the color purple and sunflowers.
Her survivors include two children, Tim Hall and Miriah Hall, both of Ashtabula; three sisters, Linda (Sam) Nelson and Bernice (Ed) Hall, both of Ashtabula, and Lori (Winson) Slone of Prestonsburg, KY; one brother, Herbie Drew Osborne of LaGrange, KY; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Palmer Eugene Osborne and Dewey Lee Howell; and her parents.
Calling hours will be held Thursday, September 4, 2008 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Ducro Funeral Services and Crematory, 4524 Elm Avenue, Ashtabula.
A service will be at the funeral home at 10 AM Friday, September 5, 2008. Rev. John Jones, Pastor of Lighthouse Baptist Church and Rev. Kenneth Roberts, Pastor of Pentecostal Church of God, will officiate. Burial will be in Saybrook Cemetery.
