Rulon S. Rappleye, age 67, passed away on March 4, 1990 at Alta View Hospital in Sandy, Utah.

Born January 23, 1923 in Marysvale, Utah to William Valentine and Mary Lorinda Jolley Rappleye.

Married Dorothy Thomas; later divorced. Married Joyce Statton; later divorced. Veteran of World War II and the Korean War, serving in the Navy.

Survived by sons and daughter, R. Brent Rappleye, Sacramento, California; T. Keith Rappleye, Salt Lake; Jeff S. Rappleye, Oregon; Mary Winkelkotter, Murray; step-children, David, Layton, Doris, West Valley City; Calvin Rawlins, Cedar City; five grandchildren; sisters and brother, Hilda Rappleye, Helen Koffard, Maude Tuft, Alta Mullins and Ned Rappleye; niece, Peggy Burton and nephew, Warren Rappleye. Preceded in death by brothers and sisters, Ammon V., Vernon, Cecil, Dean, Myrtle Anderson and Nellie Hillis.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 South State Street, where friends may call on Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. and on Thursday one-half hour prior to the services.
Interment: Orem City Cemetery.
