Funeral services for Mrs.George
welliver, who died Wednesday evening at her home in Clark township were conducted from the residence Saturday morning with the Rev. J.D. MacDonald, pastor of the Community Congregational church in charge of the rites. The body was taken to the Rocklane cemetery for burial.
Music was provided during the service by a quartet composed of Jabez Kinnick, Eleanor Patterson, Mary Thompson and Fred Patterson. The group sang "God Will Take Care of You", " In The Garden" and " Does God Care".
The casket bearers were Carl Spencer, Homer Keller, Todd Heck,Harold Trout, Lloyd Walters and Loren Vaught, nephew of Mrs. Welliver.
Mrs. Welliver, age 66, died Wednesday evening 6 o'clock at her home in Clark township. Mrs. Welliver had been in failing health for the past two years, but had been confined to her bed only for the past week. Heart trouble and complications were the cause of her death.
Elizabeth A. Welliver was born Aug.2, 1867, in Clark township, the daughter of Peter and Jennie Cutsinger Heck. Mrs. Welliver was one of a large family. On Jan. 22, 1896, she was married to George F. Welliver. To this union no children were born.
She was a member of the Rocklane Christian Church and was one of the esteemed women of her community.
