KENT SCOTT

Funeral services were held this morning for Kent James Scott, the 4-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. James K. Scott of Sunnyvale.

Kent died Thursday at Pal Alto-Stanford Hospital after several months' hospitalization for cystic fibrosis, a tissue degeneration. He had lived with his family at 660 Boice Ave. since his birth at that hospital in 1960.

Besides his parents, he is survived by two brothers, Bradley Richard and Gregory John Scott, both of Sunnyvale; his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Blanchard Sr. of Los Angeles and Mrs. Mary B. Scott of Monterey; and his great-grandmother, Mrs. Ada Butler of New York.

Funeral services were held at St. Jude Episcopal Church in Cupertino, with Hays Funeral Home in Sunnyvale in charge of arrangements.

Interment will be Monday at Golden Gate National Cemetery in San Bruno.

The family prefers memorials be contributions to the Peninsula chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Research Foundation.
