Wenona "Wennie" Weer Harris Peachey, 49, of Unionville died on Sunday, August 15, 1993, in the Chester County Hospital, West Chester, following a lengthy illness.
She was the wife of Bruce H Peachey and the late Roy A. Harris, who died in 1982.
Born in West Chester she was a daughter of the late W. Albert and Louise Fulton Weer Sr.
She was a 1962 graduate of the Unionville-Chadds Ford High School.
She was employed by Fidelity bank for 23 years and worked at the Crosslands branch.
She was a member of the Po-Mar-Lin Fire Company Auxiliary and formerly served as the treasurer of the Kennett Area Salvation army.
She was a member of the Unionville Presbyterian Church and served on the board of trustees. In addition to her husband she is survived by a brother, Robert F. Weer, Sr. of Unionville, a sister, Margaret W. Simpson of Unionville; four nephews, and two great-nieces.
She was preceded in death by a brother, William A. Weer, Jr., and a sister, Janice Weer.
A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 18, 1993, at the Unionville Presbyterian Church, Wollaston Road, Unionville.
Funeral services and interment will be pribat at the convenience of the family.
