Pampans' Relative Succumbs In Wheeler

Two Pampans are among the survivors of J.L. Bailey, 79, of Wheeler, for whom funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Wednesday in Wheeler's First Baptist Church.

In Pampa are his daughter, Mrs. Delton Sanders, 1300 Terrace and his granddaughter, Mrs. Grady Havenhill, 113 S. Faulkner.

Owner of a farm between Mobeetie and Wheeler, Mr. Bailey died Monday night in Wheeler hospital. He had been a Wheeler resident since 1919.

Officiating at the services were Rev. M.B. Smith, pastor, and Rev. A.C. Wood, Wheeler.

Burial was in Wheeler, following Masonic graveside services.

Mr. J.L. Bailey, 79, Wheeler father of a Pampa resident, Mrs. Delton Sanders, 1300 Terrae, died at 12:30 a.m. today in a Wheeler hospital.

Funeral services for the long-time Panhandle resident, are to be at 3 p.m. Wednesday in the Wheeler First Baptist Church with Rev. M.B. Smith, pastor, officiating.
