She was married at Dye Mound on December 8, 1898 and lived at Forestburg until coming to Wheeler in 1920. In 1910 she joined the Baptist Church at Dye Mound and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Wheeler at the time of her passing.
Services are scheduled to be held at the First Baptist Church in Wheeler at 3:00 p.m. Friday, July 18, with the pastor, Rev. M. B. Smith, and A.C. Wood officiating.
Survivors include her husband, J.L. Bailey, and children, Roy, Cecil and Pat, Wheeler; Mrs. Percy Farmer, Wheeler; Mrs. Doris Baumgardner, Fort Stocton; Jack Bailey, Forestburg; Mrs. Joyce Taylor, Galveston; Mrs. Imogene Sanders, Pampa. Thirteen grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. A daughter, Mrs. Lillian Helton, preceded her in death.
Pallbearers chosen were: Levi Reid, Dick Guynes, Gordon Whitener, Aaron Williams, Marl Jaco, and Harry Wofford.
Kirk-Mason Funeral Home is in charge of the services.
Interment will be in the Wheeler Cemetery.
