SHAMROCK (Special) - Funeral services for Joseph Marshall Adams, 44, of Shamrock, have been set tentatively for 2:30 p.m. Wednesday in the First Methodist Church.

Mr. Adams died at 9:30 a.m. Monday at his Shamrock home.

Officiating at the services will be Rev. Frank Beauchamp. Burial will be in Wheeler Cemetery under the direction of Clay Funeral Home.

Owner of a Shamrock hardware store, Mr. Adams was chairman of the Shamrock Red Cross chapter, former president of the Rotary Club, former steward of the First Methodist Church, member of the Masonic Lodge, Wheeler, and of the Khiva Shrine, Amarillo.

He had always been active in community afairs [sic].

Survivors include his wife, Ruby; three sons, Robert, David and Michael; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. W.W. Adams, Wheeler; three brothers, Clyde, Tulia, Walter, Cuba, N.M., and Harold, Wheeler; and two sisters, Winona Kongs, San Pedro, Calif., and Bonnie Harmon, Kelton.
