Marshall Hill
A funeral will be Thursday at 11 a.lm. December 28, 2000 at Columbia Funeral Home in St. Helens for Marshall Hill who died December 25 at age 84.
Mrs. Hill was born July 31, 1916 in Dufur. He graduated from Scappose High School in 1934. During World War II he served in U.
S. Army horse cavalry. He lived in Portland for 60 years before retiring to Scappose last July and was a clerk for Burlington Northern Railroad for 30 years before retiring in 1974. He was a member of Galilee Baptist Church. In 1941 he married Elsie Keck, she died in 1998.
Survivors include his son James C., daughter Valerie Hart, brother James, sister Helen Brackett, three grandchildren and one great grandchild.
