Funeral services for Henry Damon who died suddenly Monday morning on the porch at his brother's home in Durand, were held this afternoon at Durand. Burial was made in the West Side cemetery here.
Mr. Damon had lived in the vicinity of Rockford since he was 18 years old when he came from Benington, Vt. where he was born in 1840. Besides his brother, Edward, with whom he resided, he has another brother, Willard Damon, of Rockford. He has bee suffering from blood poisoning in a foot.
