Son of John and Abigail Ward Wilson.
Husband of Waity Herington, married 24 January, 1802, in Sharon, Windsor, Vermont, by Jared Parkhurst, Justice of the Peace.
Father of Henry (1805), Mercy {1808} Horace (1809), Mary {1810}, Louvisa (1812), John (1814), Albert (1816), Ward (1819), Sarah (1822), Margaret (1825), Susan (1831).
Moved from Rochester, New York to Allegan, Michigan in 1835.
Served in Captain Wright's company of Martindale's 1st Regiment, Vermont Militia, as a Private. Detached into U.S. service two months and 14 days in 1812. Served 12 April to 21 April 1814 in Captain Shubel Wales company of Col. W.B Sumner's regiment.

Died 4 February, 1844 at age 63y, 6m.
