Andrew N. (Noble) ISLEY, 83, Rt. 1, Silver Lake, died at 7:15 p.m. Tuesday at the Wabash Health Care Center. He was born Sept. 4, 1905 near Silver Lake to Orlando and Nancy KRAMER ISLEY. On Dec. 5, 1942 in Rochester, he married Reba WAGONER CLEMANS, who survives. He was a retired carpenter, a former employee of Sears Roebuck and Company, and the Fansler Lumber Co., Rochester. He was a member of the Manitou Moose Lodge, Peru Eagles Lodge and the Carpenters Union. Surviving with the wife are eight daughters, Mrs. Nancy HOFFMAN, Rochester, Mrs. Sidney (Mary) SIVITS and Mrs. John (Sue) MILLER, both of Peru; Mrs. Delbert (Norma) BOLEN, Mentone; Mrs. David (Cindy) POAGE, Claypool, Barbara REESE, Bourbon; Juanita UTTER, Argos, and Loretta MILLER, Middleboro, Mass.; four sons, Carlton CLEMANS, Landcaster, Calif.; Larry ISLEY, Kewanna; Kenneth ISLEY, Mentone, and Max ISLEY, Silver Lake; forty-eight grandchildren, and thirty-eight great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Billy Dale [ISLEY], in 1978; a great-grandson, four sisters, and four brothers. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Foster & Good Funeral Home, Akron, with the Rev. Tim ROHRBACHER officiating. Burial will be in the Athens Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, and after 9 a.m. Friday.
