WILLIAM L. KYLE was born in Madison County, Georgia, August 10, 1810, and died at his home in Morgan County, Alabama, August 28, 1889, age seventy-nine years and nineteen days. Brother Kyle professed religion when quite a youth and was a consistent member of the Methodist Church for about sixty-five years.
He was married to Miss Margaret Lynn in 1835. This union was blessed with seven children, three of whom with their mother preceded him to the spirit world.
His father moved to Morgan County, Alabama, when he was a child, which makes him one of he oldest citizens of this county.
He was buried by the side of his wife and children at Flint Church in Cullman County, Alabama, there to await the resurrection morn. May God comfort the bereaved family. --------D. J. Parish
