SPANISH AMERICAN WAR VETERAN

Horace W. Bullock was born August 24, 1874 in Glasgow, Missouri. His father was Sanford Bullock, born in Huron County, Ohio and his mother was Elizabeth Cazzell, born in Greenup County, Kentucky.

MILITARY RECORD:
Enlisted April 12, 1899 in Joplin, Missouri. Assigned to Company "F" of 14th U.S. Infantry. Discharged as a private on October 5, 1901 at Ft. Snelling, Minnesota. Pension is on Certificate No. 2,509,853.

He married Fay Garrett on July 23, 1902 in Parsons, Kansas. The couple moved to Washington state in August 1917. Mrs. Bullock died at Retsil in 1945 and was buried at the Veterans' Home.

Mr. Bullock died at Agnew State Hospital in Agnew, California on March 10, 1953. Pendleton-Gilchrist was in charge of the burial. Services were held at the Home Auditorium on March 19th. Mr. Bullock was not a member of the Home at the time of his death - special permission was given for him to be buried next to his wife.
