Aubrey Lynn Turner, 60, of Ridgely, died Friday, April 17, 2009 at his residence.

He was meat market manager for Newbern Food Rite, and pastor and member of Mt. Moriah Baptist Church near Obion.

Services will be at 3 p.m. today at Cottonwood Baptist Church in Ridgely with the Rev. Ronnie Turner and Bro. Mickey Hanks officiating. Burial will be in New Haven Cemetery in Ridgely.Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Survivors include his wife, Jeanette Gant Turner of Ridgely; a daughter, Wendy Annette Turner of Ridgely; a son, David Anthony Turner of Ridgely; five sisters, Jan Platt of Ridgely, Alice Chandler of Toone, Theresa Butler of Miami, Fla., Katrinka Sanford of Tiptonville, and Frances Nevita Pilgrim of Dyersburg; two brothers, Jody Turner of Dyersburg and Jeffrey Turner of Ridgely; five grandchildren, Stephen Michael Turner, Nicholas Kyle Turner, Brittany Mercedes Turner, Christopher Chase Turner and Amanda Maddox Ivy; and a great-grandchild, Alexis Grace Ivy.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Robin Rachelle Turner; his parents, Marion and Lucille Turner; two sisters, Mildred Lane and Nancy Runions; and four brothers, Jamie Turner, Charles Turner, Billy Turner and Cloyce Turner.

Pallbearers will be Joey Hayes, Steven Tate, Joe Gant, L.D. Gant, Doug Gant and Kenny McCaslin. Honorary pallbearers will be Dale "Cotton" Brewer, Wilkes Moore, Chris Runions, Jason Belt, Jeffrey Rivers, Nathan Barber, Aubrey Wood II and Jackie Howell.
