Alice Almeda Faye Turner Chandler, 65 of Ridgely, Tennessee died on Saturday, November 28, 2015, at The Bridge in Ridgely, Tennessee.
Born Tuesday, June 13, 1950 in Ridgely, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Marion Turner and the late Lucille Callison Turner.
She was a home-maker and member of Mooring Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM on Monday, November 30, 2015 at the Cottonwood Baptist Church with Rev. Ronnie Turner officiating. Interment will follow in New Haven Cemetery in Ridgely, Tennessee. Visitation will be Sunday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Cottonwood Baptist Church in Ridgely, Tennessee and on Monday from 11:00 AM until service time at Cottonwood Baptist Church.
She is survived by one daughter, Melony Logan (Jimmy) of Mountain View, Arkansas; one son, Sean Chandler of Nashville, Tennessee; three sisters, Jan Platt (Richard) and Keleta Katrinka Sanford all of Ridgely, Tennessee and Theresa Butler (John) of Miami, Florida; two brothers, Jody Turner (Judy) and Jeffrey Turner (Priscilla) all of Dyersburg, Tennessee; two grandchildren, Blake Cruz and Brittney Hipp; four great-grandchildren, Dustin Chandler,Taylor Chandler, Diesel Hipp and Dtroyt Hipp and a host of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by three sisters, Mildred Lane, Nancy Runions and Frances Nevita Pilgrim; five brothers, Charles Turner, Billy Turner, Cloyce "Shorty" Turner, Aubrey Lynn Turner and Jamie Turner and her former husband, Harry Chandler.
Pallbearers will be Stacey Rivers, William Rivers, Jeffrey Rivers, Chris Runions, Wayne Dew, David Turner and Daryl Cox.
Following the services a meal will be provided provided by Calvary Baptist Church at the church located at 3611 South Bluff Road.
