Mrs. Herman A. Vogel, 68, passed away at 2:45 p.m. Wednesday at the farm home near Rockville in the town of Schleswig, Manitowoc county.
Born in Milwaukee on March 10, 1885, nee Ella Wegner, she was the daughter of Herman and Augusta Tank Wegner, and was married to Herman Vogel on Jan. 1, 1912 at St. Peter's Lutheran Church at Milwaukee. Following their marriage they made their home on the present farm.
Survivors are her husband; a son Herbert on the homestead; a daughter, Mrs. Herman (Esther) Boje of the town of Herman; four grandchildren; four brothers, Arthur of Wisconsin Rapids, Edward of West Allis, Oscar of Milwaukee and Alfred of Wauwatosa.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Zion Lutheran Church at Louis Corners with the Rev. William Hartwig officiating, and burial will be made in the Rockville cemetery.
