father of Fred, Mary, Ethel, Bessie, Paul
brother of John Wilson Brisbin who is buried in Block 3 of this cemetery, also was a brother of George and Danial.

record at the National Home for Disabled Soldiers in Milwaukee.

It said he died on 16 Nov 1913, while he "was absent with leave from Home ... died at Ferron Park P.O. Wis" and they were notified of the death by the city attorney from Spooner about 3 weeks later.

Apparently, he died at the Ferron Park post office, which is located in Burnett, Dodge County, Wisconsin. They must have shipped the body to Spooner (rather than back to Milwaukee, then up to Spooner).
