My tribute to Josephine and Marie Smetana

Josefa & Marie Smetana's cemetery marker at Holy Redeemer Cemetery over looking the beautiful city skyline of Baltimore. The weather was an unseasonable 70 degrees on January 9, 2008 when this picture was taken. At the end of my four hour visit, I noticed how the sun was positioning in place to set facing Josefa and Marie marking the end of another day in heaven.

Note: Since this picture was taken, I now know that Josefa's husband Franz and their son Stephen James are buried here along with Mary and Stephen Michalovic, children of Josefa's sister, Mary Michalovic, who died very young.
