Gladys Louise (Seales) Vines, 86, of Birmingham, formerly of Short Creek, Mulga, Al. passed away 03/11/13. She was a member of Church of God of Prophecy of Short Creek & Short Creek Quartet. She was employed as a seamstress at Goldsteins & Cohen, and Standard Casket.
Preceded in death by her husband, Porter Vines Jr.; son, Jerry Wayne Vines; Parents, George Franklin Seales and Esther Lucille Prince.
Survived by her daughter, Judy Ann Carpenter (Kenneth); son, Larry J Vines (Sue); 10 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren.
The visitation will be Thursday, March 14, 2013, from 10:30 AM until 11:30 AM, at Peoples Chapel Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 11:30 AM at the Funeral Home, with Rev. Joey Mojica officiating. Burial will follow at Liberty Baptist Cemetery, Alliance.
