Dominic Pavone, 85 ... Farmed in Tracy, San Jose MANTECA -- Dominic Pavone, a lifelong farmer, died on Sunday, March 13, 2005, at Skaggs Hospital in Branson, Mo. He was 85. Mr. Pavone was born on July 23, 1919, in San Jose and had been a resident of Manteca since 1992. He farmed in the San Jose and Tracy areas. His family will remember him as a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend to many who will be greatly missed by all. He is survived by his children, Rena Wood and her husband Kris of North Bend, Ore., Ann Farnsworth and her husband Paul of Manteca, Phil Pavone and his wife Louise of Branson, Mo., and Laurie Sanders and her husband, Harry of Sacramento; grandchildren, Dominic Giardina, Marla Giardina, Rachelle Shands, Paul Fransworth, Sean Pavone, Shannon Reynolds and Sierra Reynolds; 12 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary, who died in March 1997; and his sisters, Nancy Patrino and Mary Fanelli.
