Services for Julia Murl Blake, 84, of the Homer community, were held Tuesday, May 12 in the Gipson Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Fielders Cemetery.
Mrs Blake was born June 11, 1903 in Panola County and died Sunday in a Lufkin hospital after a brief illness. She resided in Homer for 37 years and was a homemaker and a member of the Bald Hill Baptist Church.
