St. Matthews - Mrs. Mary Salina Lever Townsend, of West Bethel community, wife of Baster [Baxter] Allison Townsend, died Tuesday at her residence.
Funeral will be Thursday at 3 p.m. at the Enoree Baptist Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Townsend was born in Newberry County, a daughter of the late Capus [Capers] and Mamie Suber Lever. She was a member of Enoree Baptist Church.
Surviving are: her husband, two daughters, Mrs. Seba Kemmerlin of Elloree, Mrs. Rufus Bell of Chatsworth, Ga.; a son, Homer Allison Townsend of Miami, Fla.; a brother, Maxie Lever of Newberry; a sister, Mrs. Sam Graham of Newberry.
