Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. Sunday at Summers-Kistler Funeral Home in Olney. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home with Pastor Greg R. Stovell officiating. Burial will be in Haven Hill Cemetery in Olney.
Mrs. Long was born on October 6, 1937, in St. Clair County, the daughter of Henry W. and Alvina E. (Rider) Cremeens. She married Walter D. Long on February 12, 1957. He preceded her in death on March 10, 2005.
She was a bookkeeper for Richardson Electric.
Mrs. Long is survived by her daughter, Julie Potts and her husband, Bradley, of Belleville; grandchildren, Samantha and Coty Seals, of Vincennes, Ind.; and grandson, Timothy Potts, of Belleville.
She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; daughter, Vivian Seals; and brother, Norman W. Cremeens.
Memorials may be made to Olney Public Library or Hospice of Southeastern Illinois.
