Mrs. Irene Akers Dies At Hospital
Mrs. Irene Akers, 83, of 922 E. Dorothy Street, died at 4 a.m. today at Mary Sherman Hospital following an extended illness.
She was a member of the Methodist Church.
Surviving are the husband, Hud; a daughter, Mrs. Goldie Richey, of Pana, Ill.; and several grandchildren.
The body was taken to the Alexander Funeral Home where services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Willis Ross officiating. Burial will be in Good Hope Cemetery.
Friends may call after noon Friday.
