Richard Edward Keefer Sr., 67, of Mertzon died Wed, Dec. 20, 2000, in a local hospital. Graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Sherwood Cemetery. Arrangements are by Johnson's Funeral Home. He was born March 27, 1933, in Wilmar, Calif. A Navy veteran, he was a retired oil field worker.
Survivors include two daughters, Lepha Rodriquez and Rhonda Parker, both of San Angelo; a son, James Keefer of Ballinger; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
