C. H. Gambell, 88, Mulino, died on Oct. 31 in Willamette Falls Hospital of heart problems. He was born July 13, 1902 in Ravenswood, Ill. and moved to Mulino in 1931.
He married his wife of 60 years on March 2, 1930 in Maywood, Ill.
He is survived by his wife, Lola, of Mulino; nephew, William Gambell of Mulino; four grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and 10 great grand nieces and nephews.
Memorial services were Nov. 4 at 2 p.m. in the Mulino Community Baptist Church. Private internment was in Zion Memorial Park Cemetery in Canby. Arrangements were by Everhart and Kent Funeral Home, Molalla.
The family suggest memorial contributions may be made to The Salvation Army.
