Hosea L. Blackmon, 51, died in the Cameron hospital Friday. He had been taken to Cameron the day before by a Phillips & Luckey ambulance.
Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock in the Full Gospel tabernacle with Rev. Claud Pruitt officiating. Burial was made in Hamilton Chapel cemetery.
Mr. Blackmon was a life-long resident of Rockdale. For the past several years he had operated an ice station. He was the father of thirteen children, eleven of whom and his wife, survive. Also surviving are a number of sisters and brothers.
