Mrs. Katharine Wagner, 93, a former resident of Kiel, died late Monday morning at the Anna M. Reiss Home following a lingering illness. Her brother, Nicholaus Lorge of Plymouth, believed to have been the oldest resident of Sheboygan County, died last Saturday at the age of 97. Born March 10, 1860, at Belgium, Wis., she was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Lorge, pioneer residents of Calumet County, and moved to Kiel after her marriage to Michael Wagner at St. Ann's Church at St. Ann. Mrs. Wagner had been a resident of the Anna M. Reiss Home since 1941. She was a member of Ss. Peter and Paul Church, Kiel. Only immediate survivors are a grandson, Henry Wagner, of Chilton, and four great-grandchildren. Her husband preceded her in death in 1931. Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Thursday at the Meiselwitz Funeral, Kiel, and at 9:30 a.m. at Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church. The Rev. F.X. Kheil, pastor, will be the celebrant of the requiem high mass. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. The body will lie in state at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Wednesday. Members of the Christian Mothers Society of Ss. Peter and Paul parish will hold a vigil at the church at 7 p.m. Wednesday. Father Kheil will lead the rosary.
