Guy Chaffee, 87, husband of Almira Chapman son of David and Eunice Chapman Chaffee. Grandson of Rev War Veteran David Chaffee and wife Pricilla Robbins Chaffee. For many years a highly respectable and well known resident of Palermo, Oswego County NY. Guy died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Irish, in Denver, Colorado. He was the brother of the late Abner Chaffee of Palermo NY, one of the early and for a long series of years one of the most intelligent and most influential supervisors of Oswego county NY. Guy Chaffee's farm adjoined that of his brother Abner's on what is known as "the Island" in the town of Palermo. Abner Chaffee was the father of Prof. W. G. Chaffee, the well; known principal of the phonographic institute of this city. The two Chaffaes were among the early and most highly respected settlers of the town of Palermo
