He was born 20 June 1929 in Murray, UT to Gustave Alben and Lillie Marie Gillen Lundskog, the second of seven children and grew up in Murray, graduating from Murray High School, 1947. He served an LDS mission to Sweden 12 Oct 1950 - 2 June 1953. He married Gail Marie Johnson 1 Nov 1957 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.
Parley was successful in his business ventures with his brother, Elmo; and brother-in-law, Darrell. They owned Cellulose Insulation Manufacturing and Comfort Systems, Inc, which was run with honesty and integrity up until retirement. Gardening was a lifelong hobby for Dad and he loved sharing his bountiful harvest with others.
He enjoyed lifelong membership and activity in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in various callings including that of bishop, high counselor, High Priest Quorum leader, and many other capacities. He will be loved and missed by all.
Parley and Gail are the parents of seven children, Parley Scott (Toni) Lundskog, Riverton, UT, Robert Dee (Cindy) Lundskog, Logan, UT, David Alan Lundskog, Lehi, UT, Bradley Don Lundskog, Salt Lake City, UT, Shellie (Perry) Pardoe, Logan, UT, Karen (Glen) Goins, Riverton, UT, and Lori (James) Coombs, Iowa City, IA.
He was preceded in death by his father (1958); and brother, Elmo A. Lundskog (1998). He is survived by his wife; seven children; 23 delightful grandchildren; siblings, Elry G. (Mary) Lundskog, Gay L. (John) Sherrow, Afton L. (Duane) Richardson, Margie L. (Gary) Atkinson, Helen L. (Darrell) Eddington.
