Paul R. Bollinger, age 96, formerly of Shipshewana, Indiana passed away Sunday, April 12, 2009 at his residence in Portage, Indiana. Paul was born in LaGrange County, Indiana on September 26, 1912 to father John Bollinger and mother Nora (Cripe) Bollinger. He was married to Lola V. (Sherman), November 28, 1935 in New Paris, Indiana, she precedes him in death on February 25, 2009. He is survived by his son, Sherman (Eunice) Bollinger of Morrison, Colorado; 2 daughters, Mrs. Ronald H. (Vonda Lee) Maser of Woodburn, Indiana and Mrs. Ronald (Carolyn Rose) Mc Donald of Portage, Indiana; brother, John (Jolene) Bollinger of Goshen, Indiana; 13 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by 7 sisters, Velma Miller, Mae Miller, Carrie Myers, Pauline Bauer, Mildred Parson, Mary Louise Blough and Grace Kurtz; 3 brothers, Russell, Rollin and Ben Bollinger. Paul graduated in 1930 from New Paris High School and went on to work as a poultry serviceman for area feed companies. He attended Grace Church of the Nazarene in Portage. Visitation will be held at Rieth-Rohrer-Ehret Funeral Home, 311 S. Main St., Goshen, Indiana from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on April 17, 2009. Funeral service will be at Rieth-Rohrer-Ehret Funeral Home in Goshen, Saturday, April 18, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. Rev. Mark Hostetler of Grace Church of the Nazarene in Portage officiating. Burial will be at shore Cemetery in Shipshewana. Memorial contributions can be made to Child Evangelism Ministries or World Missionary Press of New Paris, Indiana.
