MEBANE - Marcus Waye Allred, 75, of 402 N. Second St. died Wednesday at his home.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at First Baptist Church, of which he was a member. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
A native of Randolph County, he was a retired employee of Cannon-Mills and a deacon at his church.
Surviving are wife, Mrs. Dorothy Sink Allred; daughter, Jacqueline Ashby of Pleasant Garden; son, Marcus Lee Allred of Mebane; sisters, Mrs. Ellen Terrell of Mebane, Mrs. Geneva Terry of Greensboro; brothers, T.M. Allred of Burlington, Joe Allred of Saxapahaw; seven grandchildren.
The family will be at Walker's Funeral Home 7-9 p.m. today, other times at the residence.
