Henry Schnell Is Called To Rest At Home Near Kiel. Kiel. - Henry Schnell, aged 69, passed away at his farm home two and one-half miles northeast of Kiel this morning at 5:30 o'clock. Death was caused by dropsy and other ailments from which he had suffered for several months. The deceased was born on June 26, 1863, in the town of Eaton. He was married twice. His marriage to his second wife, Miss Christina Gilsdorff from the town of Rhine, was performed on May 20, 1895. After their marriage the couple located on the farm where they spent their entire life with the exception of five years, when they resided in the city of Kiel. Four children were born of the second union. One daughter, Mrs. John Hartmann, passed away Nov. 11, 1920.
The wife and two daughters and one son who survive are Mrs. William Dorn, near Kiel, Catherine and Joseph, both at home. There are also eight grandchildren; three brothers, Adam of Marshfield; Anton and Joseph, both of the town of Eaton; two sisters, Mrs. Joseph Weigel, Marshfield, Mrs. Frank Buschmann, School Hill. Mr. Schnell was a member of the Catholic Knights of Wisconsin. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday morning at 9:30 o'clock at the home near Kiel, and at 10 o'clock at St. Peter and St. Paul Catholic church at Kiel. Rev. J.J. Esdepsky will officiate and burial will be made in the Catholic cemetery near Kiel.
