Born Aug. 23, 1880, Mt. Pleasant, to Samuel Levi and Marian Burnside Shelley.

Married Helena Christensen Oct. 21, 1903, Manti LDS Temple; she died June 18, 1947.

Farmer.

Served LDS mission to Southern States, 1908-1909.

Past president cattleman's association and irrigation company.

Water master, 25 years.

Survivors: sons, daughter, John W., Vernile H., J. Leslie, Elmer J., Mt. Pleasant; Mrs. Clarence (Fern) Turpin, Fairview; 46 grandchildren; 55 great-grandchildren; 5 great great granchildren; brothers, John M., Nampa, Idaho; David A., Mt. Pleasant.

Funeral Thursday 1 p.m., Mt. Pleasant First-Fourth LDS Ward Chapel.

Friends call Jacobs Mortuary Wednesday 7-9 p.m., Thursday after 11 a.m.

Burial Mt. Pleasant City Cemetery.
