ONE BY ONE THEY ARE PASSING AWAY
Another pioneer of this city crossed the great divide Sunday. Robert Johnson, a resident of Manti since 1854.
He was born in England September 4, 1823. He came to Salt Lake in '53 and to Manti the following January.
He leaves six children, Alma Johnson, Mrs. Robert Cunliff, and Mrs. F. M. Cox of this city, Rob't Johnson of Castle Valley, Mrs. Ephraim Denison of Sterling, and Nephi Johnson of Idaho, all of whom attended the funeral. His wife died two years ago.
The funeral was held from the Tabernacle Wednesday afternoon.
Mr. and Mrs. Rob't Johnson of Salt Lake, distant relatives, were here to attend the funeral as was Mrs. Thos. Hoggan of Lewiston, Idaho.
