Roe was dead on arrival at a hospital on Sunday. Shannon's is in charge.
He was born near Cleburne and moved here 20 years ago after his retirement. He was a member of Rosen Heights Baptist Church and was a Mason.
He taught school in Wise and Montague Counties and was superintendent of Wise County schools for eight years before retiring.
Survivors include four sons, George W., Robert E., Pleasant S. and B.F. Roe Jr. of Fort Worth; four daughters, Mmes. Exie Mae Walker of Houston, Reba Parker and Mozelle Teague of Fort Worth and Eunice Sanders of San Francisco; a brother, Pleasant W. Roe of Oklahoma, and 11 grandchildren.
