Sallie Belle Cole is the daughter of Sarah Tennessee Tully Cole and William Archillus Cole. Further, she is the granddaughter of Felix Pleasant Tully and Didema Jane Kirby plus the great granddaughter of William Britton Tully and Sarah Ann Sally Hawkins.

She married Thomas Franklin Spears on July 19 1901 and had had several children with him. She passed away in Earle, Arkansas.

14 January 2017-After meeting with my Aunt Alice and Uncle Paul M. Spears, they have a copy of this family photograph and I was able to get additional names: The young boy Thomas Franklin Spears is holding is James Earnest Spears who died in October 2016. The older boy wearing a hat behind Thomas Franklin Spears is W.T. Jones who also died in 2016 (W.T. was a Prisoner of War of the Japanese and had survived the Bataan Death March).
