Alice was born in Bitlis, Armenia. She was an Armenian Genocide Survivor.

She attended school in Rio Vista and Scandinavian middle school in Fresno.

She married George Antoyan, on May 8, 1933.

She was a homemaker who loved to cook, sew, crochet, and knit. She worked along side her husband at the New England Market during World War II until her brothers-in-law returned from the war. She also loved to travel.

She was a member of the St. Paul's Armenian Church, a member of the St. Paul's Armenian Church Ladies Society, and a past member of California Armenian Home Guild.

She was an avid gardener known for her strawberries, Guta Tomatoes, fruit trees, and colorful flowers.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Georgas and Antika Saroyan; her husband, George Antoyan; brother, Vartkes Saroyan; sister, Louise Kandarian; and nephew, Michael Kandarian.

She is survived by her son, G. Franklin Antoyan of Fresno; daughter, Anita Antoyan of San Francisco; niece, Elizabeth Dashjian and her husband, Ralph Dashjian.

Visitation will be held at Lisle Funeral Home, on Monday, April 13, 2009, from 1:00 to 7:00 P.M.

A Funeral Service will be held at St. Paul's Armenian Church, on Tuesday, April 14, 2009, at 10:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Belmont Memorial Park.

Remembrances may be made to the California Armenian Home, 6720 E. Kings Canyon Road, Fresno, Ca. 93727, or to donors favorite charity.
