Barbel Ritter Hertzel was born April 26, 1721 in Reihen, Baden, Germany. Barbel Ritter, age about 11, emigrated Sep 1732 from The Palatinate with other members of her family. In America she was called "Barbara". In 1743 she was married to Hans Jacob Hertzel in Northampton County, Pennsylvania. They were to have 11 children. On
December 07, 1807 in Northampton County, Pennsylvania, she died and was buried in the Dryland Church Cemetery. Barbel is the wife of my 1st cousin 8 times removed.
