(Savage says she "was daughter of Rev. Francis Johnson, it is said, a puritan of eminence, who had fled to Amsterdam," and he is followed in this by Wyman, but the evidence for this identification has not been found.)
Married (2) After March 1647 Joanna (_____) Shatswell, widow of JOHN SHATSWELL . She died at Ipswich 17 April 1673, as "widow Joanna Shatswell."
