I've never located a Civil War momument of any kind at Old Tent Cemetery. However, last week (April 2009)I located this small stone, for that of a child, or perhaps a footstone, with the initials W.G. It could belong to William Giffin a CW vet or Wylie / William Giffin. Both names are on my trancription list for Old Tent. I posted this photo, to an Old Tent, memorial, at Find A Grave and in my FTM. Wylie Giffin 1860-1863, was one of several children of John & Margaret Jane (Shaw) buried at Old Tent Cemetery.

On another visit, in May 2009, I found a tombstone for Wile C. Giffin and a CW memorial for William Giffin.
