Claude Eugene Gale, 83, died December 12, 1994 in Salt Lake City.
He was born June 16, 1911, in Salt Lake City, Utah to William Thomas and Huldah Priscilla Hjorth Gale. Married Kate Zdunich in Salt Lake City, June 23, 1937.
Claude was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Navy. He worked as a truck driver for Inland Freight Lines, Utah-California Motor Lines, and Garrett Freight Lines; and as a shop foreman for Inland Freight Lines and Cummins Diesel. Claude was a life-long resident of the Salt Lake area.
Survived by wife, Kate; brother, Floyd C. Gale, West Jordan; and sister, Elaine Harmon, Kanab. Preceded in death by parents and sisters, Maxine Gale and Lavon Giauque.
Funeral services Thursday, December 15, 11 a.m., Goff Mortuary, 8090 So. State, where friends may call one hour prior to services.
