Culver - Died in Empire City, Wednesday, Oct. 12, 1887, at 8 p.m. Joseph Culver, age sixty five years. The deceased was an old resident of Short Creek and was highly respected. He was a soldier in the last war, and was a drummer of Frank P. Blair post, G.A.R. in this city. He was buried by the post at the city cemetery Thursday evening with the usual honors of the order, and the remains were followed by a large number of friends and acquaintances.
